“Henry Rowe Schoolcraft, noted American geographer, geologist and ethnologist, drew accounts of the Wisconsin territory during his 1832 expedition to find the source of the Mississippi River. He noted at the time that Wisconsin Schnapps was available for 4 cents a dram. While we haven’t managed to maintain the price, we are able to present Schoolcraft’s Original Wisconsin Schnapps Liqueur as we think it would have been enjoyed at the time – a special blend of local botanicals and flavors, crafted atop spirits derived from local grains.” Distilled and bottled in Middleton, WI, by Death’s Door Distillery.
