Lochlea Our Barley Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the flagship expression from Lochlea Distillery, an independent, family-owned producer nestled in the heart of Ayrshire, Scotland. The distillery takes pride in growing its own barley on Lochlea Farm, ensuring complete control over the quality and character of its whisky. Under the guidance of Production Director John Campbell, the whisky is matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels, Oloroso Sherry butts, and STR (shaved, toasted, re-charred) casks. This meticulous cask selection imparts a remarkable depth and complexity to the spirit, which is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with no added coloring.

On the nose, Lochlea Our Barley offers inviting aromas of pear syrup, fruit bon bons, warm cut grass, and marmalade. The palate reveals rich flavors of golden syrup, pepper, rye bread, macadamia nuts, and cream soda, culminating in a long finish with a lasting note of orange beeswax.
