Ki Noh Bi Mizunara Karuizawa Cask Aged Gin 13th Edition
The 13th Edition of the famous NOH Mask line from Kyoto’s finest gin distillery was aged for six months in both ex-Karuiazawa sherry butt and Mizunara puncheons. The two aged gins are expertly blended together and adorned in the a unique label highlighting the NOH mask theater tradition. The collaboration with the Kamiasobi NOH Troupe is now a long tradition dating back to the first special bottlings of the famous Karuizawa Whisky by Number One Drinks company.
This gin is extra special as it was matured in ex-Karuizawa sherry casks, marking the first-ever collaboration between Japanese whisky and Japanese gin. The Kyoto Distillery’s “Ki Noh Bi” Dry Gin is also the first Japanese gin to collaborate with the Noh Theatre, like the legendary Karuizawa distillery did before it. Noh is one of Japan’s traditional performing arts.
This 13th is also made up of some Mizunara wood matured gin which was blended with the ex-Karuizawa sherry cask matured stock.
