Alacran Joven Mezcal is an unaged mezcal made from 100% Espadin Agave plants from the Oaxaca region of Mexico. It is produced by Master Distiller Don Lucio Morales in San Dionisio, Oaxaca. Alacran Joven Mezcal has a wonderful earthy and sophisticated taste.Alacrán Joven is made with agave Espadin in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca. The agaves are cooked in an underground oven, naturally fermented, and double distilled in copper pots. On the palate, there’s a bit of mesquite smoke, dried citrus peel, and fresh oregano.Auténtico Mezcal Alacrán (AMA) is the mezcal arm of the Alacrán brand that also produces tequila. The brand was established in 2010. They offer several varieties of tequila and make their mezcal with agave Espadin. All of their mezcal is produced by Don Lucio Morales in San Dionisio Ocotepec. Don Lucio is the uncle of Alberto Morales, who produces Wahaka Mezcal across the street.…
