Established in 1879, Aberlour Distillery is the aptly named Speyside Whiskey region of Scotland. Neslted in a beautiful woody hollow near the River Lour meets the River Spey – this historical distillery provides one of the best valued Speyside malts of the area. Their a’Bunadh single malt scotch whiskey aligns to those standards perfectly. The name a’Bunadh translates to ‘the original’ from Gaelic, and is in tribute to Aberlour’s founder, James Fleming. The nose of this hand-crafted malt whiskey is a mix of spices dose in praline caked oranges and sherry. Vibrant bursts of orange follow through in the taste of a’Bunadh scotch long with dark cherries, ginger, and bitter but oh-so-rich dark chocolate.
