Yellowstone’s Special Finishes Collection is an ever-growing exploration of finishes and perspectives on their iconic bourbon profile. And to add to their collection, they created Rum Cask. By finishing for nine weeks in rum cask barrels, they impart notes of spice and tropical sweetness on their 4-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Delightful aromas of gingerbread, poached pear and fresh-cut hay will greet you upon first scent. Hauntingly delicious palate notes of toasted marshmallow, crème brûlée, toffee and toasted oak will then be knocking at the door, coupled with a finish of tobacco, clove and cocoa-seasoned oak and a long honey finish.
