Born into a family that had distilled tequila since the early 1800s, Don Felipe Camarena opened his own distillery in 1937 within the mountains of Jasilco, Mexico, which is famed for producing the very best blue agave. Passing the business doen three generations, the distillery recently celebrated 75 years of production, using many of the same methods as were used upon its opening. Double distilled, Tapatio retains as much of its original chatacter and flavour as possible.
