A commanding, mature spirit, the Añejo is rested for about 18 months in white oak “medium toast” barrels that come from the Ozarks in Missouri. Siembra Azul was founded by David Suro-Piñera and was created with the purpose of promoting education, health services and research in tequila production. The Blanco tequila is produced in the town of Arandas in the Highlands of Jalisco and is double-distilled with agave ranging from 5 to 8 years of age. On each label you will find a wealth of information with everything from the name of the agave ranch, type of still, and both the name of the jimador and the distiller along with so much more.
