The classic, full-bodied, Grenache – Syrah – Mourvedre blend is most commonly associated with the southern Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Pape in particular but also produces excellent wines across the New World – Australia and California, in particular, producing lauded examples.

Fresh red currants, rose petals, tarragon and thyme meet with vanilla and caramel on the very pleasing nose of this blend of 70% Grenache, 16% Mourvèdre and 14% Syrah. Rosewater shows on the palate along with fresh cherry and strawberry flavors, wrapped in light tannins and judicious acidity. It goes down easy.
