The aromas of black cherry and violets leap from the glass with hints of peppercorn, sarsaparilla and earth. Upon tasting, both ripe and tart cherry dance with notes of plum, cranberry, cola, and ripe raspberries. The finish lingers on the fruit with hints of mineral and soil complexity while the mild tannin fades in balance with the fresh acidity.” —winemaker
