A re-release of a classic from Nikka, the 2023 Spring bottling of Nikka Yoichi 10 year old Single Malt Whisky celebrates the commemoration of Yoichi Distillery being named an ‘Important Cultural Property’ in Japan. This iteration also marks the return of age-stated bottlings for the distillery’s US imports and is the first age-statement iteration released from Nikka Whisky in far too long. Introduced as a limited, ongoing annual release made available to select retailers, this re-release of Yoichi 10 Year Single Malt is said to have been produced in an estimated 9,000 bottles, finished to 45% ABV (90-proof). The nose offers bold hints of sandalwood, smoke, and honey paired with a palate of smoke, butter, malted biscuits, and bananas.
