Nose & Taste Notes
The moderate weather in the Pacific Northwest has a profound impact on the unique flavors of the oak and people in the region. To explore this further, we embarked on a journey to see how this would influence our Midleton Single Pot Still Whiskey. The distinctive grunge culture added an interesting element, imparting earthy notes from the use of American virgin oak. The resulting whiskey offers hints of smoked applewood, golden raisins, clove spice, and malted barley, with a lingering finish reminiscent of coffee grounds.
