Considered by many to be the jewel in the crown of the Jack Daniels stable, Silver Select is bottled at a significantly higher strength, resulting in a greater intensity of flavor. A full-on Tennessee whiskey experience.

Originally released in 1997 as a Travel Retail exclusive, Jack Daniel’s Silver Select is bottled at a higher strength of 100 Proof (50% ABV). The 1st generation bottle design was produced from 1997 until 2010, when it was re-packaged in the new square single barrel bottle. JD Silver Select was finally discontinued in 2015, and was replaced by Jack Daniel’s 100 Proof in 2016.
