Launched in 2010, the Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix Single Malt Scotch is a tribute to a moment of tragedy felt by this renowned distiller when several of the facility’s rooves caved in from too much snow one year. Rising from these ashes like the Phoenix of legend, this lovely whisky is crafted from a selection of Oloroso and American oak-casked Scotch aged between 13 and 30 years, specifically chosen by Malt Master Brian Kinsman. Snow Phoenix surrounds you with an aromatic blanket of cream blended with smashed banana, winter white flowers, and baking spices melted with rich butter; like snow in spring. The taste is sublime with fruits dipped in caramel and folded into ripe banana and wood spice.
