Description
Named “American Micro Whisky of the Year” by Jim Murray’s 2014 Whisky Bible, the Garrison Brothers Cowboy Straight Bourbon Whiskey is cited as one of the oldest bourbons ever produced in Texas. First launched in 2013 with just 600 bottles produced, this highly favored bourbon takes a step back from Garrison’s regular line-up as it’s a far rarer consideration from the popular distillery. After several years of hiatus, Garrison released a second iteration of Cowboy Bourbon in 2015, with a mere 5,200 bottles. Bold and wonderfully crafted, Garrison Brothers Cowboy Straight Bourbon is typically aged for a minimum of 4+ years in select oak barrels and distilled and barreled in the same year. Each iteration is finished to varying ABV %, depending on the year of release. For the latest edition, Garrison Brothers offered up 1,000 bottles of Cowboy Bourbon on release day at the distillery, plus another 8,600 bottles nationally. Notably rare, highly collectible, and utterly quaffable – this is one Texas treasure you won’t want to miss out on!…
