“Double chocolate, it appears… as usual a stunning nose from Prichards: do they know how to do anything else? Crisp rye and crisper apple teams with equally firm Demerara and liquorice but that chocolate plus corn and vanilla offers the counteriing softness required; a mega bourbon nose…; Like the nose, absolutely breathtaking intensity which spells bourbon with every atom; spellbinding balance between the maple syrup sweetness and the drier vanillas; the corn really does have a major input in flavour. Oils and Dries out a fraction and some cocoa returns, but remains chewy. If only they could bottle that nose … oh, they have …!!! Just wonderful whiskey.”
