A lesser spotted Aultmore single malt! The fruity and herby Speysider was matured exclusively in refill hogsheads for over two decades of ageing. It was then bottled at 21 years of age at 46% ABV, without chillfiltering or colouring.This Speyside single malt comes from Aultmore distillery in Keith, Banffshire. Distilled from unpeated malt barley in a traditional pot still and matured for 21 years in a refill hogshead, this expression is bottled free from chill filtration at a strength of 46% abv. Known locally as a nip of the Buckie Road, Aultmore has long been rated top-class by blenders, making single malt expressions harder to come by.Aultmore is a whisky distillery in Keith, Banffshire, producing an eponymous single malt whisky. Its name is a derived from the phrase An t-Allt Mòr, Gaelic for big burn, referring to its water source the Auchinderran burn.
