Description
A vatting of 3 single Bourbon casks went into the production of this Independant bottling of Ardbeg from Ian Mcleod Distillers as part of their ‘Dun Bheagan’ series. This is a very fresh and coastal expression, with lots of tarry ropes, hay, kipper and sea spray. On the palate there’s sharp, smokey lemons and brine along with slightly burnt icing and a ton of ash. It finishes quite salty and smokey with a medium length.
