Description
Cited as the most expensive Indian single malt whiskies created to date, the Amrut Greedy Angels Chairman’s Reserve 12 year old Single Malt Whisky is a beautifully crafted and highly limited release offered in just 100 bottles! Housed in a custom-designed crystal decanter and luxurious display box, the Amrut 12 Year Greedy Angels Chairman’s Reserve is the 3rd release in the Greedy Angels series, which includes an 8 year old offering launched in 2012 and a 2015 ten year old iteration. Released in 2016 to commemorate Amrut’s 12 year anniversary on the international whisky market, this exceptional single malt is aged using a unique process in keeping with other previous bottlings from the series, namely; several casks are set aside and aged for an estimated 4 years with an angel’s share ratio of 82% – leaving the casks half full. The distillate is then combined and aged for another 4 years, with a further 82% reduction. The process is repeated until a mere one, half cask is left after 12 years. Succulent, balanced, and buttery – this is one whisky you don’t just taste … you experience!…
