Description
Fromhigh upon the top ridge of Kupp, Stirn is a steep, south-facing vineyard that gets plenty of sun, lending a fine balance between the sunny brightness and old (70+ years), tiny-berried vines dug deep into the base rock. Soils are essentially flakes of slate, and the resulting wine is extraordinarily fine, bright and dances across the palate.
