Description
A blend of 70% Garnacha Tintorera and 30% Moravia Agria. The Garnacha Tintorera, also known as Alicante Bouschet, originates from a 3-hectare parcel vineyard with clay and calcareous soils. All parcels are hand harvested and vinified separately. The Garnacha Tintorera is foot-trodden in vats with 30-50% stems included, followed by a skin maceration period of 6-10 days. It is then fermented and aged on fine lees in concrete for 8 months. The Moravia Agria grapes are completely destemmed and undergo a 7-day maceration period before being pressed and aged on fine lees in 228-liter used French barriques for 8 months, without battonage.
