Description
From the Waterford distillery, Hook Head 1. 1 distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2021 comes out a hearty 50% ABV. ‘Extreme maritime terroir’ is the story here with Irish ‘Propino’ malted barley growing in maritime conditions creating a unique flavour profile. This particular expression, aged for 3 years and 8 months, has been matured in first-fill, virgin US and French oak. Nose:
