Description
First produced by Canonica with the 2012 vintage, Giovanni inherited these 50+ year old vines in 2010. They are slightly lower altitude than Paiagallo; with that in consideration and also the high percentage of the highly-desired “rose” clone of Nebbiolo, this vineyard will typically produce a more robust, darker-fruited wine. Usually only a few hundred bottles are produced annually!
