Description
Morstein is recognized as one of its most prestigious plots in Westhofen. The vines are positioned on the mid part of the slope at about 180–240 meters above sea level. It’s considered a cooler section in a warmer region which leads to a healthy amount of acidity in the wines. In the very warm vintage of 2003, vines competed for water, yielding a Riesling that is punchy, bold, and direct, bursting with tropical fruits. While slightly less acidic due to the heat, the wine is destined to age gracefully over time.
